Luke cut his teeth djing fraternity parties at the university of arizona, then moved to los angeles for a steady job and lost it to music. that makes him a wildcat, and a wildcat is a legend around here by default. we did not write that rule. we just went to the same school.

we have not asked him anything, we read it. in may 2026 he told dance music northwest that Chris Lake was the first artist he ever listened to and the reason he found house at all. asked what he is on now, he got more specific.

Mostly Israeli-esque house music, like Max Styler and Solomun. So labels like Diynamic, Maccabi.

Max Styler and CamelPhat he called friends in that same interview, Pedroz and Disco Lines long-time ones, and both of those two turn up on his records further down. add AYYBO, who the interview misses and who we know he is tight with anyway. that is seven artists across the quote and this line, Solomun included, and every one of them has a page here. the two labels do not, yet. that one is on us.

he started on his own label. "Without You" with MOVEE ON went out on TBH, his own imprint, in october 2021, before anyone else was calling. HotCity gave him the first outside single, "Too Much", in april 2022, and Bump N' Grind followed with "Daka" a month later. that july Black Book Records put him on ID's: Chapter 4 next to NightFunk and Prok & Fitch, then had him back for chapter 6 the year after. a ZHU remix, "Lil Mama", landed in between.

"Horny" with San Pacho landed on Insomniac in september 2024 and is still his most streamed thing, running just ahead of the one below.

the one he points at himself is "Evil Ways", out on Helix in june 2025 and built on a cleared Willie Bobo sample. he sat on the record six or seven months before helix cleared it, calls it the simplest production he has ever made, and put it at five million streams by may 2026.

Every time I play it, people sing to me, and it's slowly becoming everybody's favorite song.

2026 is the busiest year of it so far. "No Lames" with Pedroz and "Too Bright" with WELKER on Helix, the "Pipe Down" ep on Club Sweat in may, a Jitwam remix on Thrive Music in june, and a Shoreline Mafia flip with Disco Lines that went out on 300 Entertainment and Atlantic in february, comfortably the biggest room he has been let into.

next is "Percolate", back with San Pacho, out 14 august 2026 on Trick, Patrick Topping's label. second record those two have made together, two years after "Horny." his own teaser for it is below 🍾

we have caught him twice in denver, once at the rino art district in october 2025 and again at day trip's club vinyl residency on 5 july 2026, on a bill with Yamagucci. had the pleasure of meeting him briefly after that second one, and he was exactly as easy about it as the records make him sound 🤝
