Ben Dorman is a producer and dj from phoenix, arizona who works as BIJOU. he grew up around the business because his father managed local bands and played himself, and dance music landed for him in 2009 through Tiësto's take on adagio for strings. his first real break was hello with dr. fresch in 2016, out through ac slater's night bass.
he started Do Not Duplicate Recordings in january 2019 and opened it with Gangsta Party, a joint ep with dr. fresch whose lead cut kung fu came out 25 january 2019. the label also runs an unlocked compilation series built for artists who have not broken through yet, and nostalgix, wenzday, dlmt and michael sparks all came up through it.
I'm super super proud of the artists that have started with us from the beginning, and are now touring on a global scale.
