Siamese is the Zürich label Adriatique, the duo of Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer, started in 2016. Discogs puts it in two lines: "Record label, based in Zürich (Switzerland). Label done by Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer aka Adriatique." Resident Advisor broke the news on 1 September 2016, "Adriatique will start their own label next month called Siamese.", and added that "the pair envision the outlet as more than just a platform for music, with plans to host the work of creatives from various disciplines. There are also several label parties in the works". the first release followed on 14 October 2016, Adriatique's own "Patterns Of Eternity", SIAMESE001, with Switzerland as the country on its Discogs entry. the base is Zürich by the label's own Bandcamp location field, which reads "Zürich, Switzerland", and by Discogs, while Resident Advisor files it under Switzerland with no city. before this, Adriatique were a Diynamic act, and Shala told Vice in November 2016 that they have every freedom at Diynamic and that Siamese is their own idea, which is the quote below. the name is "Siamese" on Beatport, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Resident Advisor and in the catalogue prefix, SIAMESE001 onward. Discogs files it as "Siamese (2)" because four unrelated Siamese labels got there first, and the label's own YouTube channel is called "Siamese Records", with the handles reading siameserecords and siamese_records. one label, and the handles carry "Records".
the label has never written a genre, so we don't tag one. what it has written is a mission line. the SoundCloud bio, in full and spelled as it stands, reads "The rare feeling of a immediate mutual connection that bonds two people stronger than many years of friendship can." Resident Advisor carries the same text with one sentence in front of it: "Maybe you've only heard about it, maybe you experienced yourself." the YouTube channel description keeps it plainer: "Official YouTube channel of Siamese, home to Adriatique and more." no parent company or distributor turned up, so we name none. the label's website, siamese-records.com, the address both Discogs and Resident Advisor list, was offline when we checked, so it is not linked here. the catalogue leans on the founders' own records. after "Patterns Of Eternity" come Adriatique "Grinding Rhythm" (SIAMESE007, 2018), the "X" EP with "Craft" on it (SIAMESE010, 2019), which Andrew Ryce reviewed for Resident Advisor on 27 June 2019, and Adriatique & Marino Canal feat. Delhia de France "Home" (June 2020, per Electronic Groove). the newest release we could confirm as of September 2026 is Watermat & James Mac "Daydream EP" (7 August 2026), and Beatport lists Denis Horvat "Lost in U" for 25 September 2026, so the catalogue is still going.
the series is Siamese Anthology, the various-artists compilation on the label's own Bandcamp, where volumes I to VI sit. Electronic Groove covered "Siamese Anthology VI" on 23 October 2023 as the sixth instalment, twelve tracks, and Deezer lists "Siamese Anthology VII" dated 5 April 2024 and "Siamese Anthology VIII" dated 4 July 2025, both with the label field reading Siamese, so the series has reached at least VIII. a newer various-artists series, Siamese Soundsystem, runs on Beatport, with "Siamese Soundsystem II" listed on 27 March 2026. the label's SoundCloud carries release sets rather than a show, and we found no podcast or radio series on its account. a few things share the name without being the label. four unrelated Discogs labels came first, Siamese (Canada, Rio Records), Siamese Records (Canadian disco), Siamese Records (3) (US punk) and Siamese Sounds (Finland), and the Danish band Siamese on Spotify is unrelated too. Adriatique's own channels are not the label's.
