REALM

REALM is Gorgon City's label, and "REALM Records" is the name it wears on the catalogue. the Discogs profile puts it in two lines: "UK. Launched by Gorgon City in late 2017 to act as a platform for their more club focused tracks and underground sounds." the label's own bios are shorter still, "@Gorgon-City's Label" on its SoundCloud and "Gorgon City's record label" on its YouTube channel, and Resident Advisor's line is "Record label & parties from Gorgon City". the duo behind it is Kye Gibbon and Matt Robson Scott, per Music Week. the founding year is told two ways. Discogs says late 2017 and a Beatportal article from 22 January 2025 says "Since its inception in 2017", while RA's label page says founded 2018 and Beatportal's own label page reads "Founded in 2018 by dance music pioneers Gorgon City, REALM Records has become a reliable source of exciting club music and a platform for many inspiring producers and DJs." so 2017 or 2018, depending on who you ask. the base is the United Kingdom, per RA's location field and the Discogs profile, and no source names a city, so we don't either. the name shows up in two forms, both the label's own: "REALM Records" on Beatport, SoundCloud, YouTube and Discogs, plain "REALM" on Resident Advisor, and plain REALM here. releases are distributed via ADA, per Music Week. the label has never written a genre for itself, so we don't tag one.

next to the label, and not the same thing, sits Realm Publishing, a publishing company Gorgon City launched with Sony Music Publishing UK, announced 22 May 2024 per Music Week, whose first signing was Riordan. Riordan has released through REALM, and the same Music Week piece noted his "Needle On The Record" had recently reached number one overall on Beatport. no source calls any one REALM release notable beyond that. on Beatport there is also an "Enter the Realm | ADE 2024 Chart". which brings us to the series. "Enter The REALM" is Gorgon City's numbered mix series and the label's live event at the same time, and the mixes go out under Gorgon City's name rather than a label account. edition 016, "Enter The REALM: Gorgon City 016 (DJ Mix)", landed on Apple Music on 27 June 2025, and the editorial note there ties the mix to the parties: "Leave your FOMO at the door and Enter The REALM with Gorgon City. This edition of the DJ/production duo's mix series, inspired by their immersive Enter The REALM live experience, which features acts from the REALM Records roster including DREYA V and Kitty Amor, is a solid gold selection of bangers for bassheads." Matt Robson-Scott, as Apple Music spells him, told them: "This is a mix of stuff we're loving at the moment and tracks you'll hear at our Enter The REALM parties. See you on the dance floor!" on the party side, Resident Advisor lists "Gorgon City present: Enter the Realm" at Printworks, London in 2022 and at Drumsheds, London in 2024. a few things share the name without being the label: Realm Records in Indiana, Realm the CBS budget line and Sacred Realm Records on Discogs are all unrelated, an Apple Podcasts show called "Enter The Realm" is about toy collecting, and Gorgon City's own channels are the duo's, not the label's.

a few notes on the names. Kyle Watson's "My Level" (RLM047, 2020) got a J. Worra remix (RLM057, 2020), and J. Worra has "Bounce Back" (RLM032, 2020) and "Just Because" (RLM039, 2020) of her own.
