they started as a band and the first album came out on gomma in 2005. what pulled them into this world was a run of collaborations that reads like a guest list for this page. Montserrat / Closer with ARTBAT on watergate in may 2019. Abu Simbel with Rampa on cercle records in march 2021, still their most played record. Miracle with Adriatique in september 2023, which RÜFÜS DU SOL then remixed. Black Coffee reworked their Silence & Secrets in 2022, and in september 2025 they made Mind Off with Carlita and orsay for ninja tune.

The past few years have been incredibly intense for WhoMadeWho, filled with live world tours, Hybrid DJ shows across the globe, and the establishment of our own festival and record label, The Moment.

that festival and label is The Moment, and their eighth album Kiss & Forget came out on it in september 2024 with ry x, blue hawaii, kölsch and adriatique across it.

worth knowing before you buy a ticket: they run two different shows. the full band, and a hybrid dj set where barfod is in the booth and one of the other two sings and plays keys and effects over the top of it. they took best live performer at the beatport awards in 2024 and a dj award in the organic house category the same year.

the united states run is the first week of september. marquee skydeck in new york on the third, the surf lodge in montauk on the fourth, the concourse project in austin on the fifth, and arc in chicago over labor day weekend. their newest record is ENERGY, made with gordo and out on 17 july 2026.
