Tom Trago was born in amsterdam on 28 january 1983 and started dj-ing in the city's coffeeshops as a teenager, drawn in by its 1990s club scene. rush hour recordings put out his debut single, "Live With The BBQ," in 2006.
It's not just a label, but also a community. There's so much stuff happening [in Amsterdam], for me it's unnecessary to look elsewhere for good music.

in 2010 he founded his own label, Voyage Direct, to put out music from amsterdam's house scene. two years later he released Use Me Again (And Again) through the label, catalogue number VD06, backed with a rework from carl craig.
in 2016 he teamed up with Seth Troxler as T&T music factory for the ep De Natte Cel on !K7 records, made after the pair played the closing parties of amsterdam club trouw and went straight into the studio together.
he later relocated from amsterdam to the village of bergen, and in 2020 started a second label, Jong Nederland, for his own material, opening with the single "Whisper" backed with "Belltower." in november 2025 he returned with Ignorance on magnetron music, a collaboration with The Jungle Giants and dexter.
