Giuseppe Di Stasi is from canosa di puglia, in the puglia region of southern italy, and works out of bari. before any of this paid, he was doing twelve hour days in a shoe factory. royalties from a 2015 record called Alive built the first home studio, and the studio moved with him from canosa to bari as the work grew.
the record that opened doors was Disco Connection, out on glitterbox recordings on 29 september 2017. it is still the clearest statement of what he does, which is warm, filtered, disco-leaning house with the low end sitting where a tech house producer would put it.
his most played record by a distance is U R, released on DFTD on 19 april 2019. Confused followed on toolroom on 24 september 2021, described by the label as a straight up house record with a feel-good lean, and toolroom has kept taking his music since.
he has also been a reliable remixer for other people's biggest records. his rework of Kevin McKay and cassimm's "Save Me" landed on glasgow underground on 3 april 2020, and his version of ferreck dawn's "In My Arms" is one of the most streamed things attached to his name.
the most recent full body of work is House Propaganda, a seven track album on umani wax released on 5 june 2026, running from tech house at the top through to straighter vocal house. he has also had a busy remix year across 2026, including a DFTD accapella package built from U R in may 2026.
one confirmed booking ahead. he plays defected gioia tauro at the vulcano beach club on 14 august 2026, on a bill with andrea oliva, nic fanciulli and overgivelse, listed on defected's own events calendar.
