mont rouge are two friends from geneva who started making records together in february 2023. the sound is afro and melodic house, deep synth lines and long hypnotic grooves with the emotional lift left in rather than engineered out.

the record that opened everything came inside their first year. Voyage Voyage, made with francis mercier and coco, went out on ultra on 15 december 2023. three months later, on 15 march 2024, their remix of axwell and ingrosso's More Than You Know arrived through UMC.

ultra has been the steady home since, with ya peli on 30 august 2024, w4u on 29 november 2024, How You Feelin' with twoforall on 21 march 2025, take me away on 27 june 2025 and Your Body alongside tom novy and mooglie on 5 june 2026. moblack records and madorasindahouse records took the more openly afro house material across 2023 and 2025.

insomniac came in 2025. Back Then, again with twoforall, landed on in / rotation on 21 october 2025, and gray area, insomniac's own magazine, describes them as signed to insomniac records. two and a half years from a first session to that signature is a fast climb by any measure.

the 2026 run has been spread deliberately wide, That's Life with mooglie on abracadabra music on 8 may 2026, I Cared For You on all night long on 26 june 2026 and Waves of Luv with matt sassari on cr2 records on 3 july 2026.

the summer is booked and the bookings are published. they play the main stage at écume festival in saint-pierre-quiberon on 8 august 2026, and sunice festival at the lido in ascona, back home in switzerland, across 17 to 19 september 2026. bandsintown lists a further run of club dates through august in france and spain either side of those two.
