axwell is a swedish dj and producer who came up through the swedish house underground in the early 2000s. in 2005 he started Axtone Records as an outlet for his own material, and the label has grown into a home for other producers as well.

his first widely charting single was Feel The Vibe (Til The Morning Comes), which topped the uk dance singles chart for a week in october 2005. two years later, I Found U, featuring max c, became his biggest hit, reaching number 6 on the uk singles chart and spending two weeks at number 1 on the uk dance singles chart in 2007.

axwell is also one third of swedish house mafia, formed with sebastian ingrosso and steve angello in 2008. the trio disbanded in 2013 and has come back together at various points since.

his newest single, Whatever Turns You On, featuring bonn, came out on axtone records on 26 june 2026.

axwell has no upcoming shows published. resident advisor lists five dates on his page, and every one of them checked individually turns out to already be in the past. his official site promotes the new single and carries no tour section.
