Gold Lemonade are a duo. lya is a french dj and producer from the west of france. jvgg is a producer and vocalist with caribbean roots who grew up around st martin and the west indies. they met in a paris studio where both were working on other people's records, decided their two worlds fit together, and started building a hybrid of hip hop and dance music instead.

where they are based now is not published. their own domain, goldlemonade.com, returns a 404, there is no resident advisor page under any spelling, and no source that holds up names a home city. what is on the record is that jackie jackson of the jackson 5 signed them to his critically amused label in 2018, after which they left france for the united states.

Our duo is all about creating a new wave of music, a new concept, a real blend between Hip-Hop and EDM.
