BLOND:ISH is Vivie-Ann Bakos, a canadian dj and producer now based in spain. the project started life as a duo, and magnetic magazine reported on 29 january 2019 that anstascia was leaving it, with bakos keeping the name and carrying on alone.

the record that carried furthest is Sete, made with francis mercier and amadou & mariam and released on insomniac records on 25 march 2022.

her second album Never Walk Alone landed on insomniac records on 14 february 2025, twelve tracks long. a remix package followed on 15 october 2025 with ARTBAT and zeeba reworking Different Way, and Monkey Safari had already turned in a remix of Wa Is Da Wa for get physical music on 12 june 2025.

she runs ABRACADABRA, which is a label and a party series at the same time. the 2026 ibiza run was billed as BLOND:ISH PRESENTS ABRACADABRA and held at pacha every wednesday from 13 may to 29 july 2026. she is also behind bye bye plastic, a push to cut single use plastic out of the electronic music industry, and dancing astronaut covered a short documentary about it on 12 november 2019.
