Biscits

🚧 bumpy southampton tech house

Luke Jones works as biscits out of southampton, and he did not arrive by the usual route.

he started out making trap and dubstep under a different alias, ran out of money, and took an office job for three or four years with music parked entirely. he went back to it in 2015, switched to tech house, and broke through in 2018 with Do It Like This on sonny fodera's solotoko.

I like the restriction of house/tech-house tempo and structure, as I feel with all the modern production tools, pretty much anyone can make any style they want.

he runs his own label, WRONG., and it has become his main outlet rather than a side project. almost everything he has put out since 2024 lands there. Freak arrived on it on 6 december 2024 and beatportal, beatport writing about its own chart, put the record at a number three peak.

outside the label he cut I Am The One with TOBEHONEST for insomniac records on 22 march 2024 and followed with Jungle on 1 november 2024. back on his own imprint, always knew with aya anne came on 29 may 2026 and Bringing Me Down (Bad Love) on 24 july 2026.

his 2026 calendar is busy. he plays the air stage at elements music and arts festival at pocono raceway in long pond, pennsylvania on 8 august 2026, then decca live in jacksonville on 15 august 2026. he is on the arc music festival 2026 bill at union park in chicago, running 4 to 7 september 2026, and closes with two nights at sound nightclub in los angeles on 1 and 2 october 2026, the second billed open to close.
