Up The Stuss is Chris Stassy's Amsterdam label, running since 2020. he released as Chris Stussy until August 2026, when Resident Advisor reported the alias change to Chris Stassy on 18 August and added that the label and the parties keep their names: "He confirmed his label, Up The Stuss, and event series, USS, will not change their names." so the label is still Up The Stuss, the parties run as USS, a separate event series, and only the man's own name moved. Resident Advisor's label bio, which still calls it new, reads "Up The Stuss is a new record label owned by Chris Stussy that focuses on the wider spectrum of house and created for the dancefloor." the Discogs profile puts it in one line: "Label founded by Chris Stussy, based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands." Resident Advisor files it under the Netherlands and lists it as established 2020, Beatportal wrote in June 2022 that it first launched in late 2020, and the catalogue agrees: the earliest release on Deezer is Fabe (GER) "One Take in the Booth" EP from 20 November 2020, followed in December 2020 by East End Dubs "Bec's Groove" (UTS02), with a Chris Stussy remix on it. the name prints as "Up The Stuss" on Beatport, Resident Advisor, Discogs, the label's SoundCloud account and Deezer's label field alike, so there is no spelling drift to report.
the "wider spectrum of house" line is Resident Advisor's bio, not the label writing about itself, and it is where the house tag comes from. the catalogue leans on the founder's own records. Chris Stussy & S.A.M. "Get Together" (2021), the "Mysteries of the Universe" EP (UTS09, 2022), which Beatportal framed as his first solo release since the label's launch, and "All Night Long" (2023) all came out here, and so did his debut album, "Lost, Found & Forgotten...", on 3 April 2026 under the name CHRIS STASSY. Locklead's "Square One" LP carries UTS07. some of his singles carry a CSS catalogue number instead of a UTS one, CSS002 Moby and Chris Stussy "Go" and CSS03 "It's About Us", both listed on the label's own link page. the label is still releasing: UTS28, Nachtbraker's "Bodu Imchi" EP, went up on the label's SoundCloud in early September 2026. the name itself came off a dance floor in Sydney, in his own words below.
