Stefania Aronin works as Nala. she came up playing miami's late night clubs, moved to los angeles, and she produces, djs and sings on her own records, which is less common in this corner of house than it should be.

dirtybird signed her in 2020 and released her debut ep for the label, Psychic Attack, in 2021. claude vonstroke has mentored her since. the two of them cut Everything Is Burning together for dirtybird the same year, and its b-side Wet State is the calmer half of that pair.

in july 2022 she started Mi Domina, a femme focused label she runs out of los angeles. the name nods to her italian heritage. she has also turned in official remixes for Dom Dolla on girl$ and for nelly furtado on Maneater, the latter out through geffen on 28 march 2025.

her ep Find Your Paradise landed on Mi Domina in june 2026, built around Paradise, Contact High and Idyllwild. it is warmer and more disco leaning than the distorted riot grrrl material she is better known for, and the two modes are why she sits in both lanes.

she has real dates on the books. she opens for SOFI TUKKER on the animal talk run, which reaches red rocks amphitheatre in morrison, colorado on 10 september 2026 alongside inji, then huntington bank pavilion at northerly island in chicago on 25 september 2026 and the anthem in washington dc on 16 october 2026. she also plays into the woods at openluchttheater amersfoort in the netherlands, running 18 and 19 september 2026, and ocean way festival at the beach in santa monica, running 26 and 27 september 2026.
