london, wimbledon specifically. his father is Robin Bibi, a blues guitarist who has played with Robert Plant and Ben E. King, so the music was in the house long before it was a job.

he co-founded Solid Grooves Records with PAWSA in 2015, though the party had been running a couple of years by then. "Hanging Tree" on Repopulate Mars in 2018 is the one that broke him wide. tech house at the dj awards in ibiza the year after. then SG Raw, then ISOLAT, then ISOLATE, his own all-night concept that came out of a meditation retreat in jamaica.

in may 2023 he was diagnosed with CNS lymphoma. he told everyone himself, the same week.

I don't know what lies ahead, I'm tired but I know I am strong & I won't let this beat me.

four months later he walked into DC-10 for the solid grooves closing party and played a surprise set, days after finishing his main treatment.

When I first came into hospital I was barely able to walk. Today I walk out with a smile having completed my main treatment.

he announced remission that december. in april 2024 he played coachella at sunset. that july he filled a 45,000-capacity show at finsbury park and called it One Life, for the city that raised him and treated him, then gave £124,832 of it to the royal marsden cancer charity. he did it again in 2025 and gave another £113,943. at his two-year scans in november 2025 he was still in remission.

Today was a good day. Thank you everyone that helped get us here and danced along the way.
