dj susan lists san diego as home and runs Hood Politics Records, the label whose own page credits itself to him.
the catalogue under his own name sits mostly on that label. Secrets arrived there on 17 september 2021, and Serve Bass, a two track record made with dave summer, followed on 20 february 2026.
he works outside the label too. Smack That, made with dubdogz and ceej, came out on chorou records on 14 april 2023, and Transformation landed on DIRTYBIRD on 24 april 2026.
a second seam runs through FUNKSHWAY, which put out Stick Up with broken future and DR MAD on 21 november 2025, Sun Dance on 12 december 2025 and Down 2 Ride with lyric christian on 27 march 2026.
Plain and simple, people book who they know and who they like. If you're an artist trying to play certain events or venues, your best bet is to show up, support, and make yourself known.
