🚧 bumpy queens tech house

Carlos Cid, queens. he learned to dj at eleven and was riding the trains out to record shops across the boroughs at the same age. the house came in on top of a childhood of salsa, merengue, bachata, hip hop and euro-dance.

he had a hand in the Cedric Gervais remix of "Summertime Sadness" in 2013, uncredited, which is the record that opened doors. his own grammy nomination came in 2019, for his remix of LSD's "Audio", up for best remixed recording.

What's been my strength is taking something that might not be something that, normally, DJs can play or what I can play at my sets and making a version that's going to translate to clubs and open that song up to a whole different audience.

"Nights Like This" with Loud Luxury in 2020 is his biggest under his own name. he started Night Service Only in 2019 with Spinnin', plus a show of the same name on Diplo's sirius channel.

I really want to use the label as a platform to showcase not only my own club tracks, but also music from the next generation of DJs and producers.

2026 has him on both of the labels further up this page. "Vision Blurred" with Kaskade and Anabel Englund went out on John Summit's Experts Only in january, and "Outside" landed on Vintage Culture's AFFAIRS in june.
