Juliano Beltran is from rio grande do sul in southern brazil and worked as an IT security specialist before music paid the bills. he still holds a residency at basement in porto alegre. his tech house sits off centre on purpose, warped vocals, lopsided rhythms and basslines that bounce rather than bulldoze.

The initial idea for the track came to me when I was waiting for the bus to go to work.

the track in question is Smack Yo', out on solid grooves raw on 30 september 2022 and his first record for the label. beatport reported that it took the top spot on its own overall chart. he had been sending promos to Michael Bibi for close to three years before solid grooves finally took one.

what followed has been steady rather than showy. Warning came out on revival new york on 4 november 2022, and the Origins EP, shared with the colombian producer harvy valencia, landed on hot creations on 23 february 2024. he has also put records out through organic pieces and cuff.

in 2024 he started his own label, Beltools Records, run out of southern brazil, and its main output so far is his TOOLS 4 HARDWORKERS series.

autumn 2026 is dense. he plays arc music festival at union park in chicago across 4 to 7 september 2026, then breakaway carolina at zmax dragway in concord, north carolina on 25 and 26 september 2026, on a bill with Chris Lake, Tiësto and J. Worra. he is also billed at portola at pier 80 in san francisco on 26 and 27 september 2026 and at iii points at mana wynwood in miami on 16 and 17 october 2026, both of those back to back with Ben Sterling.
