Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo run anti up as a joint project, first revealed during edc's virtual rave-a-thon in may 2020.

the pairing had already been circulating before that reveal. their track Sensational spread among festival crowds through 2019, with fans repeatedly asking for its identification online, before it arrived as an official release on 5 march 2021. a second piece from the same sessions, Shake, followed on 7 may 2021.

the project's next single, Chromatic, came out on 27 may 2022 after debuting during a Chris Lake set at skyline festival in los angeles. it went on to pick up dancefloor support at ultra music festival and coachella in 2022.

anti up kept working past that release. new tracks landed on the project's soundcloud through 2024 and into 2025, the newest being I Cannot on 24 october 2025.

no anti up shows are booked or announced. no new anti up music has surfaced since I cannot, and nothing is confirmed for 2026. no upcoming anti up dates are published.
