angelo ferreri was born in sicily, italy, in 1984 and started producing at age 12 on a modified playstation. he worked under the names alkaline and angelo elettronico from 2004 before settling on his own name around 2010.

in the years since he has built two labels of his own, Mood Funk Records and MONOSIDE, both homes for his run of house, jackin house and nu-disco records as well as a wider roster of other artists' releases.

his catalogue runs deep. I'm Surprise, released in february 2021, was later remixed by studioheist and, separately, by fellow house producer Sebb Junior, an example of the kind of cross-scene remix work that runs through his back catalogue.
